Safety Recommendations

  • Create a strong and unique password, without personal information included. Try using passwords with random numbers.
  • Avoid using the same password in multiple services and don’t save it in places where it can be shared and accessed by others.
  • Do not give your personal information and/or card details to anyone.
  • Always communicate with Avenue through our official channels.
  • In case of lost/stolen card or phone, contact us immediately in order to restrict access to your account.
  • Enable multi-factor authentication.
  • Keep your app up to date.
  • Never click on links that asks for information update other than official Avenue channels.
  • Do not keep passwords in a notebook or hard copy. If necessary, use a secure password manager app or software.

  • Verify if your Apps and Systems are up to date before browsing and purchasing online.
  • Search for reviews of those who have previously purchased to the desired website.
  • Opt for using the Avenue virtual card for online purchases.
  • Keep your card blocked via app when not in use.

Help us by reporting Scams and Frauds

Know what to do if your card is stolen or if you are suspecting fraud.

Please make immediate arrangements to block your Avenue card through the app and contact us via email at [email protected].

If you had your phone stolen, lost or you don’t have access to the mobile app, click here to place an emergency block on your Avenue cards.

How to report a suspicious email

Immediately follow the steps below If you think you’ve received a suspicious email:

  • Please forward the email received to: [email protected]
  • Do not change the subject line.
  • Do not forward the message as an attachment.
  • Delete suspicious email from your email account (inbox and trash). We will review the email and send you a reply letting you know if it is indeed fraudulent. In the meantime, do not click on any suspicious email links or attachments.
