He began his financial career at Patagon.com in 1998, where he was active until 2002, afterwards joining Ágora Corretora. In both companies Lee held various roles in clearing and custody operations. In 2005 he founded Wintrade Investimentos, one of the pioneers in the online retail investments in Brazil, acting as Product and Marketing Director. In 2010, he sold his stake in Wintrade to found and become the CEO of Clear Corretora, which quickly became one of the leading online brokers in Brazil. In 2014, after the merger between Clear and XP Investimentos, where he executed the roles of CIO and CMO of XP Investimentos, where he remained until 2017. During this period, he led major advertising and technology projects, contributing significantly to the group’s growth. Roberto Lee is currently founder and CEO of Avenue.
With a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Montana. He started his career at Pactual (BTG) in 1997 where he remained until 2003. He founded and was the CEO of Tradewire Securities LLC in 2004, providing services to a wide range of institutional clients located in Latin America, the Caribbean, North America and Europe. In 2012, he sold Tradewire to StoneX Securities (INTL FCStone), a company in which he remained until 2020, during this period, he was responsible for managing an ample team of RRs with offices located in New York, Miami, Chicago, London, among others, in addition to managing the activities of the Broker dealer in Brazil. Since 2021 acting as the COO at Avenue, he is responsible for daily operations activities and implementing new products.
He initiated his career at Citibank in 1988, in the area of local markets and derivatives. In 1993 he moved on to Banco Matrix where, in October 1995, he became a managing partner and member of the bank’s Executive Committee, responsible for the areas of local and international distribution and also risk management. In 2001 he moved forward to Claritas Investimentos to act as a managing partner, responsible for the structuring of the company’s products. In 2012, the company became part of merged with Principal Financial Group, and Carlos was appointed as the CEO of Claritas Investimentos, a position he held until 2018. Also in 2018, he became the president of ANBIMA, leading the Association for two consecutive terms. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Claritas Investimentos, a member of the Board of Ethics at ANBIMA, and General Manager at Avenue.
Graduated in business administration from ESPM-SP and with an MBA in Finance from Ibmec-SP. He began his career at Arthur Andersen, he then joined Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo in 2002, where he remained until 2011, the same year he joined XP to found the Private Banking area. In 2016, he was the director responsible for XP’s B2C operations in Brazil. He then moved to Miami and became the CEO of the company in the U.S., directly overseeing the Private Wealth Management area, where he remained until early 2019. He joined the Avenue team in mid-2019.
Graduated in business administration from FAAP – SP. He began his career at IBM in 2008, where he was responsible for the financial management of outsourcing projects in Latin America. In April of 2011 he transferred to XP Inc, where in 2013 he became a partner and one of the company’s main executives, responsible for the areas of financial and strategic planning, business controlling and business intelligence, a position he held until June of 2019. He joined the Avenue team in 2020.
Graduated in Information Systems at IBTA – SP. In 2001 he began his career at Vesta Technologies. In 2005 he moved on to Agora Senior as a Systems Architect, leading the team that launched the VipTrade platform – at the time, the largest home broker operation in the country. In 2010, he participated in the foundation of Clear CTVM, with an influential part in the development of the trading platforms and setup of the broker’s infrastructure and datacenters. After the acquisition of Clear by XP Investimentos in 2014, he served as a systems architect for Grupo XP, after the merger of operations. Today, he is also a Co-founder at Avenue and Chief Technology Officer.
Graduated in Engineering at the Center University of the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia, and with a post-graduation in Administration at FGV. She has 17 years of experience with project management and control. She has built her reputation with large companies such as Voith, where she led the implementation of the areas of Risk Management and Project Controlling; at Siemens, where she was responsible for improving the processes of the entire organization, and Andritz, responsible for planning and financial control of projects, contract and risk management. Today, she is one of the Co-founders at Avenue and currently serves as Chief of Staff.
Graduated in Production Engineering from PUC-Rio, post-graduated in Finance from IBMEC-Rio and MBA (with distinction) from NYU Stern. He started his professional career in 2006, at Suzano Petroquímica, and in 2008 he joined EBX Group, working in the investor relations and M&A area. In 2013 he moved to the United States and, in 2015, joined Victori Capital, where he was a partner and one of the persons responsible for equity management until June 2021. He joined the Avenue team in 2021.
Graduated in economics from UFRGS – RS. In 2004, he began his career at Solidus Corretora, having also worked at Koliver Merchant Bank and Banco Alfa. He was a partner, chief analyst and one of the main spokespeople for XP Investimentos. He was also a partner and management leader at VGR Gestão de Recursos. He has been with Avenue since 2018.
Graduated in business administration from FGV – SP. He began his career at Banco GM in 1997, where he worked in the areas of Finance and Treasury. In September 2010 he moved on to become a major part of Western Union Bank. In May 2011, he became Statutory Director, responsible for the company’s Finance, Accounting and Treasury areas until he left office in August 2017. He is a Co-founder at Avenue and is now currently responsible for Treasury.
Graduated in business administration, with a specialization in Capital Markets (MBA) from FGV. She joined the financial market at Ágora corretora in 2005, acting in the retail customer relationship area, also having gone through VIP Trade, retail trading desk, distributor desk and trading desk for platinum clients. In 2017 she moved to Miami and had a stint at BB Américas, also in the area of customer relations. She has been with Avenue as of 2018.
