What is the Avenue banking account?

Avenue Cash offers a U.S. bank account in partnership with Evolve Bank & Trust, a member of the FDIC, which insures deposits of up to US$250,000.00 per account holder. When opening your Avenue Banking account, you will receive a virtual card, which can be used to make purchases online and/or in-store by using Apple, Google and/or Samsung Pay. You can order a physical debit card through the mobile app. Refer to our schedule of fees for more details. The Avenue card can be used worldwide where Mastercard is accepted.

*Please note that the option to send/receiving money via Wire Transfer or ACH to/from your Avenue Banking account is not yet available.

What are the benefits of opening a Avenue Banking Account?

What is the Avenue Card?

Your Avenue card is linked to your U.S. bank account. You can use your Avenue card anywhere within the USA and abroad. Remember: To make purchases in Brazil, always select the credit option.

Where is my Avenue Card accepted?

You can use your Avenue Card in any country that accepts Mastercard and VISA, in which there is no restriction, as well as make purchases online. A travel notice might be necessary.

Can I withdraw money using my Avenue Card anywhere in the world?

Yes, Avenue Cardholders have access to over a million ATMs terminals worldwide that accepts Mastercard. To locate an ATM near you, access: https://www.mastercard.us/en-us/personal/get-support/find-nearest-atm.html

Note: A Travel notice request must be placed if you are withdrawing cash at any country other than: USA, Brazil, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway, Italy and United Arab Emirates.

Who can request an Avenue Card?

Avenue card is available only to Avenue Securities customers, meaning that you need to have an investment account with us, before opening your Avenue Banking account.

How can I request a physical Avenue Card?

The physical Avenue card can be ordered directly through the mobile app. Nevertheless, the digital Avenue card is made available for all Avenue Banking accounts and can be used to make in-store purchases when added to your digital wallet (Apple, Google and Samsung Pay).

What is the difference between a physical and virtual card?

Your virtual card is issued as soon as your Avenue Banking account is opened and allows you to make online purchases, as well as in-store by adding it to the digital wallets (Apple, Samsung and Google Pay). The physical card is optional and can be ordered directly through the mobile app. Refer to our schedule of fees for more details.

How can I block and unblock my Avenue Card?

The lock and unlock can be carried out directly through the mobile app, in the Banking tab, by clicking on the card you want to take the action.

I would like to make a transfer to other Avenue Banking customers, how do I find the email from the recipient account?

Ask the beneficiary of the transfer for the registered email linked to his/her Avenue profile. The beneficiary can check this information by Login in to Avenue App –> click on Home > Name > Profile > My Personal Info.
